Community Outreach
We fulfill the Lake Berkeley Chapel Mission to serve our community and its people in several ways:
- Inter-denominational monthly services are held at the Chapel.
- Two weekly Bible studies are hosted for residents of Berkeley Lake and the surrounding communities.
- Support is given to Berkeley Lake Elementary School teachers and students.
- A bi-annual food drive is held in support of several non-profits in our community.
- A community care fund is available to aid those in need.
Fun and Fundraising Events
Throughout the year, the Chapel sponsors various fundraising events. Some past examples include Silent Auction, Variety Show, and a Murder Mystery Dinner. Other fundraisers include sales of cheesecakes and sets of Berkeley Lake photo notecards.
As events are scheduled, information about them will be posted on the calendar.

Neighbors and Friends, don’t miss this opportunity of having a brick engraved for the 2026 addition to the Chapel’s garden path by the lakeside gazebo.
Each brick has 3 lines of engraving with 17 characters (includes spaces). Your special message can celebrate family or living at Berkeley Lake. Stop by the garden to see the special messages that others have written.
Attached is a form that can be submitted on the website or left in the Chapel’s locked mailbox on South Berkeley Lake Rd.
Individual bricks are $100, or 3 bricks for $250. Payment can be made either by check, made out to Lake Berkeley Chapel or on-line (see form).

To celebrate our Berkeley Lake community residents, we created a lovely garden along the lakeshore of the Chapel property with a gazebo as a focal point. The garden features native and ornamental shrubs and plants that create a colorful contemplative atmosphere.
The garden is maintained through fundraising efforts and donations. Local “Gwinnett County Master Gardeners” helped to design the garden, recommend plants and continue to work in the garden. The garden is maintained by volunteers called “Gardeneers.” This area is available to rent for small weddings and memorial services.
