Lake Berkeley Chapel has a long history of serving as a place of Christian worship in Berkeley Lake. In addition, it is a place for our Berkeley Lake community to gather to enjoy BLOSOMS events, weddings, memorials, and fun events like the recent talent show. The early 1959 Chapel members set good stewardship examples for future Chapel leaders to follow.
The Lake Berkeley Chapel is funded by offerings, donations, and rentals and with God’s blessings and guidance, we will continue to keep the Chapel and grounds a place for our Chapel members and residents to enjoy.
To help keep this beautiful Christian tradition alive in Berkeley Lake, we ask you to consider a tax-exempt gift to the Chapel (we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit religious charity). Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD):
Allow individuals who are required to take required minimum distributions to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities tax free which reduces their taxable amount due on RMDs each year.
